Dear Liam,

I just want to let you know that yesterday I got my NLI from DePaul in the mail. After comparing all the different options and opportunities available, as well as analyzing and balancing the economic part of the deal with my parents, we all agreed that DePaul was the best option for me. We made this decision based on money, playing time, location, academics, and social life. Playing in the Big East is an honor and a privilege, although the Big Ten would have been a dream come true.

Anyway, I want to thank you infinitely for helping me in this process. You were the one who brought my name out there so coaches from different schools knew who I was.

Dear Liam,

I write to you, to express my gratitude for all of the support you gave my son, Andre Gutierrez , it was crucial for him that you went the "extra mile" and took him to the, Indiana's University soccer camp in Summer '06 at Bloomington, IN, and gave him exposure to one of the greatest soccer programs in the nation, to a player that nobody knew and, I remember you said and I quote, "you had great confidence, he would do great and that you had to show this player that, at the moment was under the radar to all of the programs that were only focused in ODP's players" that was then, when he really broke loose and showed the coaches his natural abilities, following to this he was asked to go for official NCAA visits, to (among others) the University of Michigan, VMI, De Paul, etc. all, of them great programs.

We believe, it was very supportive as an individual that, you took the time for him and gave him the neccesary confidence to then, with his teammates win the second State Title in school history and become the leader scorer and assists, while playing for his High School, New Trier Township H.S. at Winnetka, IL.

It was then, after this great accomplishment, that you followed it up with tutoring and support him for his winter indoor season and spring season, while playing for FC United that, De Paul University offered him a chance to play at the next level and make him an "Student Athlete Scholarship" for the 2007 fall season.

He is currently, playing Division I soccer, and for the first time in school history the De Paul Blue Demons, are ranked in the Top 25 NCAA men's soccer rankings (by Soccer America rankings) as of Sept. 30th 2007. (We will see how the season unveils, We hope for the best!)

With all this said, We would like once again, Liam, to THANK YOU, for all of your support and most of all, for believing in our son, and his dream to play at higher levels, and to show him moral issues such as honesty, friendship and competitiveness.
