Objective of RUCollegeSoccer.com
The RUCollegeSoccer.com website is constructed so that all member players and colleges have access to our listings, evaluations, and video services twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. At RUCollegeSoccer.com we believe that every soccer player who desires to play the sport at the collegiate level has a school out there that needs him or her. The road to earning any athletic scholarship, particularly a soccer scholarship, is difficult and competitive. The key to getting the opportunity to earn that soccer scholarship is, in our opinion, exposure. If coaches and scouts don’t know you or haven’t seen you play, it will be difficult to get a fair chance to earn a soccer scholarship or consideration in the admissions process.
About The Creator for RUCollegeSoccer.com
Liam Augustine Murphy has a lifelong relationship with the game. Growing up in a Northern Suburb of Chicago, he played for one of the best clubs in the nation: The Chicago Kickers Soccer Club. It was there he lined up along side of Ken Snow (2-time Herman Award Winner) and Steve Snow (United States, U-17, U-20, U-23 National Teams & the 96 Olympic Team). He enjoyed numerous successful seasons at the High School and Club level.
During his tenure at school, he played on world-class teams in the United States, as well as in Europe. While injury sidelined the possibility of a professional soccer career, it allowed Liam to channel his talent in another direction. As an Account Executive for many large Chicago Advertising firms, he implemented successful sports marketing programs centered around special events, promotions and cooperative advertising.
"A former Director of Training & Education for 5 years allowed Liam to obtain an implement many different youth club programs, such as, "Youth Training & Coaching Curriculums" to "Player Evaluations", all "Age & Skill Specific". He has since return to the game he loves, only this time as a Coach/Trainer and Adminisrator for a Colorado based elite soccer club, Littleton Soccer Club, an organization of more than 3700+ players
on 60+ teams (boys and girls), from U8 through U19.
That's where he currently holds a U.S. National Coaching License and is a member of two of the most prestigious and influential coaching organizations in the world: The English Football Association (England) and World Class Coaching. Membership in these organizations provides great insight into the game of soccer, which in turn inspires the development of technical & tactical skills among the hundreds of players/coaches that he oversees.
